Controls
How Access Is Decided
Firm-scoped access
Client records belong to a firm. Access is evaluated against firm membership on every request.
Role-based access
Firm owner, admin, advisor, support and client roles determine what a signed-in person can reach.
Advisor & client authorization
A client sees their own workspace; an advisor sees the clients their firm has assigned to them.
Separate firm workspaces
Each firm operates inside its own authorized environment, with no shared client records.
Secure document access
Tax documents are served through authorized access only — never through public file links.
Audit-oriented workflow
Planning decisions, approvals and implementation evidence are recorded as part of the workflow.
